Should you respond to your small claims lawsuit?
There are two possible reasons to respond (“appear”) to your small claims lawsuit. The obvious reason to respond is that you dispute the allegations that you owe the debt. The second reason might be that you believe responding will make it more likely that the creditor will offer you a payment plan.
Michael and his staff were more than proficient in handling my bankruptcy. It is a daunting prospect to face Bk, but with their careful guidance and attention to detail, this process will be as painless as possible. I am 100% satisfied and have already referred folks to their offices.
Mike got me out from under water with a mortgage. On top of being a strong advocate and on top of knowing the law, he knew the realtor who could accomplish a short sale. What a relief. That was a couple of years ago, and my credit is good again.
- I came to this office for a consultation. I was greeted by an attorney who listened to my situation with a great deal of patience. He gave me sound advice and I will surly be coming back to him when it is time to move on his advice. I was very impressed by the caring attitude!
- I was very happy with the knowledge, guidance and representation I received. Michael understood the issue quickly and worked to resolve it efficiently. I highly recommend him.
- Michael was so kind and helpful even though he wasn’t my attorney. My attorney retired and I needed copies of court documents from over 3 years ago, and Michael found the documents I needed in the Court’s archive system and sent them to me. Michael had no obligation to do this for me, but didn’t hesitate even for a second. What great client care!!!
